UPDATE: Over 6600 households still without power after Saturday storms


UPDATES: Power has been restored for many, but 6600+ households are still without power in Mercer County, according to FirstEnergy’s website. The website is saying power should be restored by 11 p.m. tomorrow.

Over 1,000 are still without power in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Some power is expected to be returned by 11 p.m. tonight, others by 11 p.m. tomorrow.

Several stoplights still are out as well.

(WKBN) — Thousands are without power as severe storms roll through the Valley.

At the storm’s height Saturday, over 6,000 people were without power in Mahoning County, several hundred in Columbiana and over 13,000 in Trumbull County, according to FirstEnergy’s website.

At the storm’s height, there were 13,000 without power in Mercer County and several hundred in Lawrence County, according to FirstEnergy’s website.

Power for most areas was expected to be restored by 10:30 p.m., but the FirstEnergy site is no longer showing estimated restoration times.
